This NEW package contains the latest versions of my shaders, now i have added semy HDR, thanks to The Real Scene Graph Manager and Sikkpin new shaders ideas and implementations !

This NEW package contains the latest versions of my shaders, now i have added semy HDR, thanks to The Real Scene Graph Manager and Sikkpin new shaders ideas and implementations !



Very latest features on shaders...:


v2.4 - Real custom shaders for both D3 & Q4 optimized and specifically made for each one.
- Removed support for Prey.


v2.3 - Fixed Parallax VERY BIG BUG that made all shaders to look ugly and nothing to do of what i wanted, but i was not
see this until late, because i not tested too much that latest two previous versions, now, this is fixed and the new look
can be noticed with easy, look at the screenshots i made too and try it !
- Removed support for ETQW.


v2.2 - Fixed bugs, optimized, is faster now and gets the best out of IdTech4 shaders, bring new life to IdTech4 games look,
is cool, try it now.
- Changed properties from nicest to fastest again, because is the best for images in movement.
- Fixed some lightning bugs.
- Made Brilliant Highlights better, fixed bugs, makes it cool and real !
- Better Parallax for both NG & BHM shaders.
- Updated all D3, Q4, Prey & ETQW shaders to latest !
- Really im not good explaining but just try it and see...


v2.1 - New enhanced & Fixed bugs, bring new life to IdTech4 games look, is cool, try it and see for
ourselves...
Updated the shader to be more compatible with newer gfx cards.
Added to use exactly the same style as the original shaders in the NG shaders, so now are a little less brighter and more metallic realistic look for metal, and fully removed plastic look on human skin and the like.
As for BHM shaders, i added also that semi-HDR feature, but now well done and more realistic look, so, is not all look brighter and super amazing, it depends on many things like in real life.
Increassed a little the amount of Parallax applied and added as much as i can of all this to ETQW too, just try all of them, all versions included from D3 & Q4 to ETQW & even Prey.


v2.0a - Fixed a very small bug on environment.vfp, only a little enhancement.


v2.0 - Added Self Shadows to ambient lights, very noticiable !!!
- Added improved global light.
- Fixed bugs on color.vfp, environment.vfp, bumpyenvironment.vfp and ambientlights.vfp
- Dead Space style specular style on environment textures, walls and the like. :D


v1.9 - Added semi HDR feature on all my shaders.
- Added Penumbra effect on all my shaders.
- Fixed lights passing through solid objects on BHM, now, this no more.
- Enhanced backlights and added clamp Brilliant Highligts Mod.
- Removed a couple of bugs, this, take me three full days.



Oh, also i have put on the Bonus folder a file named zzz_materials_q4.pk4 that makes all weapons to look
brilliant and metallic, try it !

Really this version is made for Quake 4, i really like it this game, for this i want to make the best shaders i can, well, and for Doom 3, of course, but yes, Quake 4 its amazing too !!! Rock

Hi, I'm ready to use this mod but it seems like you've packed three of your mods into one zip. Which do I use for D3 and ROE? How do I install this? What's the difference in ng_shaders, shaders_enhancers, bhmod_ng? Which CMD do I run to play the full mod? I also want to add your Full Shadows mod.

I'm getting 'wrong game DLL API version' whenever I try to launch the vanilla D3 ROE link or any of the D3XP.cmds...

Nevermind! I think I worked it out... I just unzip all the content to the proper folders and your autoexecs do all the work, right? I just launch D3 from the normal D3 and ROE links?

Nope, I still need your help. I've extracted everything correctly, but when I launch the game with ""D:gamesDOOM 3DOOM3.exe" exec autoexec_base.cfg" link, the game loads, restarts, then takes me to the console with "Autoexec_base ok." at the end. Then what? How do I start a new game? I wish instructions came with this mod frown

From another thread about your shader mods: "Dafama ALL of you mods dont work on ATI5850/5870 cards.
I try 10-15 of you mod like paralax,Ngshaders,Shaders pack and more dafama and all of this mod dont work.
PLS buy ATI 5850/5870 and then start work on you mod smile or include support for this cards.
I use win7 5850 and latest drivers 10.6. "

I have a 5850 on Win7. Am I out of luck? frown

I NOT FOLLOW ATI, I FOLLOW NVIDIA, BUT WELL, I TRY TO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE FOR ALL, AS MUCH AS I CAN, BECAUSE I AM A USER, NOT A DEVELOPER, I CANNOT TEST ALL CARDS, AND FOR INSTRUCTIONS, FOR THIS SHADERS IS EASY...:

For Quake 4...:

Inside the zip file into Quake 4 folder, you see some folders, simply copy this folders into the root directory of Quake 4 game, where you have installed quake4, not in q4base folder, this is for .pk4 only, for folders, should be placed all as folders that later can be selected inside Q4 from the mods list and use it.

Inside the zip file into Doom 3 folder, you see some folders, simply copy this folders into the root directory of Doom 3 game, where you have installed Doom 3 game, not in base or d3xp folders, this are for .pk4 only, for folders, should be placed all as folders that later can be selected inside D3/ROE from the mods list and use it.

I wish you would put a disclaimer on all of your shader mods that they DO NOT WORK WITH ATI CARDS PERIOD, as can be seen from comments in all your past mods. It would save me and a lot of others a lot of time.

But i have also a gfx card more old but ATI that i test at times, but i try to do for both, not just NVidia, my shaders are for both NVidia and ATI, both advanced good gfx cards !

Open the console and type this or add this to the autoexec.cfg inside the folder mod you play or in base and d3xp official folders...:

Soon here, and by the way, in both http://www.d3files.com and http://www.q4files.com inside my files, there is both versions in the .zip file for D3 & Q4 and a bonus for Prey also, so, look both, for new latest versions always !!! smile
