I got bored and made this weapon.. it replaces the gauntlet/blaster
the weapon is named the Force Cannon, it impacts instantly, does massive damage+splash damage, has infinite ammo, the weapon also charges up. It's mainly meant for an insta-gib type play. It is by no means "finished", I figured i'd release it in a Beta version first see if anyone is even interested in it.
unzip q4fc.zip into your main quake4 directory and select Q4FC from the -mods- menu in-game.

Does it fire like BFG stuff? or is it like some whacky Impact Cannon?

It looks alright, it needs some bumpmapping and further modelling done to it to make it a bit more solid, but apart from that it could be something good.

Oh, and woo xD

I'm trying to load it on multiplyer games and I still have the gauntlet/blaster... any clue?

When should appear now the newer non beta version of that mod...

It's what i hate most, that someone do a good or promising mod or map or anything and then doesn't go further, why, eh !!!

Make a mod, support the mod, fix the bugs, learn from the users feedback and then make new updated and fixed versions, keep alive the mods scene, go further and beyond or not start nothing at all.
