Q4 FullShadows (v1.6) - File Description  


Description:
Dafama2K7 makes his return to Q4Files, to provide you with his latest and greatest mod which improves the realism and increases your Quake IV gaming experience! For those not in-the-know, Q4 FullShadows changes your game so that all of the lights in the Quake universe will throw off shadows, so just like in real life, when light is blocked by a surface, or object, there is no light cast past it.

    The change in this version include:
    • Fixed various bugs
    • Updated shaders.

This mod makes Quake4 do all lights with full shadows in the maps of the singleplayer Retail game.
Now, all lights will have shadows..., from a simple led to the lights of Stroggos surface !!!


Updates...:

v1.0 - First releasse.

v1.1 - Bug fixes and New Dynamic lights for weapons !

v1.6 - Fixed bugs & updated shaders.

Is there a way to translate it back into english? It's all in spanish now.

You can type this in console...:

sys_lang english

reloadLanguage

or change into the mod folder the Preyconfig.cfg file and find the line that says...:

sys_lang spanish

to...

sys_lang english

Remember that my mods have the Preyconfig.cfg file write-disabled, you have to first write-enable from Windows, change what you want and then write-disable again to keep the settings.

I wanted to say Quake4config.cfg

Also is better always to change small things in Autoexec.cfg, than in Quake4config.cfg

Note!...: I remember also hat i am working on a new shaders that already beats any other BH NG version, he he, soon here on Q4files...

But i do not use Parallax shading in this mod, wait for what i can do when using it, ha ha ! smile
