Quake 4 Demo (Updated) - File Description  


Description:
The demo also offers enough multiplayer action to keep you competing online for days, with two versions of the popular map, “The Fragging Yard” – one for larger matches and another specially designed for 1 vs. 1 combat. This fixes some problems which were found in the original demo.

This demo starts from the beginning of the game as you and your fellow squad-mates make landfall in Earth’s epic invasion of the Strogg home planet. You’ll battle through two large areas at the beginning of the game, including a heavily guarded Strogg installation and the chaotic air defense trenches cut through the desolate Stroggos landscape. The demo also offers enough multiplayer action to keep you competing online for days, with two versions of the popular map, “The Fragging Yard” – one for larger matches and another specially designed for 1 vs. 1 combat. The maps are playable in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Tournament modes.

Hi i downloaded this and everything went fine. Then when I clicked on it to start it up it started unzipping the file. When it was done, It started up the installation but then Said " 1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Run time" please help! I have no idea what this means! frown

A new Quake4 MP DEMO is out!!!!
It has a big performance boost (multi core support, ambient light, pro skins, etc…), has the physics of the new Quake4 1.4.2 patch, a new improved netcode and has a lot of bug fixes over the old demo relised almost 2 years ago. It got 3 good maps (Over the Edge is one of them wink ). The BEST part is that it’s FREE and it’s up to date.
So download the new demo and have some good multi player fun. Two Thumbs Up!
