-DESCRIPTION

A weapon replacement for the blaster with the Quake symbol. The weapon have new model, new animations,
damage types modified, different muzzleflash effects, new sounds.



-INSTALLATION

Extract the content of quake_weapon.zip into your Quake 4 base folder.
Example X:Program FilesId SoftwareQuake 4q4base.
Then run Quake 4, you will have the weapon from the beginning.


-UNINSTALL

Simply remove the quake_weapon.pk4 from your q4base folder.



-NOTES

This mod as been developed with Quake 4 1.4.2. Not tested on previous versions.
This mod overwrite the original blaster, if you are playing with another mod wich use a modified blaster, the game will crash. This mod work with every others mods wich don't use modified blaster files.
This mod is just a my experiment to import custom models on Quake 4.
The 3rd person model has not been done.
