The once so beautiful Earth is under attack by an alien race known as The Strogg. The beings are cybernetic. They are half man, half machine. Their body parts are dying so they harvest new ones from species they destroy. In order to survive an attack on Earth, a army of Earth's best warriors are sent into the galaxy to track down the Strogg homeworld. They are almost destroyed instantaniously but one man manages to sneak through their defenses, take down the defense systems and kill them. Naive as Earth is, they thought this would end all problems, it did not.

This is where Quake 2 ends

Present day, The Strogg are quickly gathering the full force of their army. You assume the role of an member of Rhino Squad. Together you will be sent to invade their homeworld once more. A quick and final attack which would end it all. You have a wide variety of weapons each capable of immense destruction. Your dropship will be shot down when you reach the planet and you will be left for dead. Together with a few other survivors you find yourself in the middle of a war. Together you will need to fight your way out. Unfortunately you and your team members get captured by the Strogg and will be sent to a facility that turns you in a Strogg soldier. Kane is given metal body parts and he starts to understand Strogg language. Luckily he is rescued right before an attempt was made to implant a control chip.

Choose your weapons and tactics wisely because the faith of the human race depends on it.

Posts: 		Oh yea, i no this doesn't had 2 do with quake 4 but quake 3 is like the only quake that doesn't has a story 4 singleplayer

I rated it, because i think it's good that you can read something of the story, before you buy the game.

P.S.: i bought Quake 4, and i thougth it was nothing special. (I come from Denmark, so it costed med 50 DKK. it's almost 6,5 dollars)
Because of the price, i thought it was nothing special, but there are second thougths!! This game rocks!!Rock
